Stanley Welcomes
Kristi Franks
Stanley is so excited to welcome Kristi Franks as our new Principal.
This is Mrs. Franks 15th year in education. She is a graduate from
Newman University and Wichita State University. Mrs. Franks grew
up on the south side of Wichita and taught several years right here at
Stanley first as a classroom teacher for years and then as a Title I
Resource teacher for two years. Mrs. Franks then went to the
Mulvane Public School system where she served as a Principal for 5
years. Mrs. Franks comes back to Stanley this year, having worked
as the Assistant Principal last year at Kensler Elementary. Mrs.
Franks has many interests. She likes spending time with her
husband and two daughters. She also enjoys jogging, reading,
crocheting, and going to craft shows. Of course, her work is also
extremely important to her, and she enjoys learning more about how she
can better support student achievement and the emotional and social
development of the students with whom she works. |
Site Council & PTO
WANTS YOU
Stanley Elementary Site Council and PTO invites you to be an active
partner in the education of your child. We want your great ideas
and input! Participation is FREE. There is no jointer fee or
monthly dues. We have room for additional members on both
organizations. The Site Council and PTO meet the first Monday of
every month in the Stanley library. The Site Council meeting
starts at 4:45 p.m. and the PTO meeting follows immediately at about
5:15 p.m. The first meeting of the 2008-2009 school year will be
August 25th. These two organizations play a very important part in
budget items, teacher needs, building needs, dress code, and discipline
policy, just to name a few. Please consider giving some of your
time to one or both of these two very instrumental service
organizations.
